Since the dawn of Islam, Muslims have relied on the Sunnah of the Prophet at the same time as the Koran, according to rules known to jurists and specialists in legal interpretation. The Sunnah is the second source of reference in Islam after the Koran, both in terms of preaching, education and moral guidance. The question of understanding the Sunnah, its methodology, its study, the analysis of all its aspects and how to make it the source of Islamic knowledge, civilization and culture, is considered as one of the main questions facing Muslim thought. This work essentially emphasizes the fundamental principles which must govern the relationship of Muslims to the Sunnah. Brief biography: Yusuf Al Qardawi
Dr. Youssef al-Qaradawi, Egyptian scholar born September 9, 1926, is an intellectual and religious pillar of the Muslim world. Orphaned at a young age, he acquired a pious education and excelled in his studies, graduating from the Islamic University of "al-Azhar" in 1952. His fame as a thinker, preacher and author of over a hundred twenty works based on his methodology of mediation and middle ground in Muslim jurisprudence. Dr. al-Qaradawi also earned a doctorate in hadith sciences in 1973, cementing his position as a leading scholar of Islam.
