The true face of this world:

One of the main reasons that lead people to become deeply attached to the life of this world is the illusion that it has no end. Forgetting that at any moment death can put an end to it, man simply imagines that he can enjoy bliss and happiness. However, he only deceives himself.

For this world is only a temporary dwelling place, specially created by God to put it to the test. This is why it is necessarily imperfect, not being designed to be able to satisfy the constantly growing desires of human beings. Any attractive aspect of this life is bound to fade away and disappear after experiencing decline and degradation. Such is the immutable reality of this life.

This book highlights the quintessence of existence and leads man to meditate on the real world to which he belongs, namely that of the Beyond.

About the Author:

The author, who writes under the pseudonym HARUN YAHYA, was born in Ankara in 1956. He studied art at Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul, and studied philosophy at Istanbul University. Since the 1980s, he has published numerous works on political, scientific and faith-related subjects. Some of his books have been translated into over 20 languages and published in their respective countries. Harun Yahya's works appeal to Muslims and non-Muslims alike, regardless of age, race or nation, regardless of their shared unwelcome ideal differences. These books are centered on a single objective: To communicate to readers the message of the Koran and therefore to encourage them to reflect on certain important themes such as the existence of God, his uniqueness and the hereafter, and to demonstrate the arguments of the supporters atheistic ideologies.
