Satisfaction is the most important and fundamental act of the heart. By this act the servant can attain a station surpassing that of those who exhaust their bodies in the performance of good works, while the acts of the first are less than those of the others. Ibn Qayyim -may Allah have mercy on him- declares: “The path of satisfaction and love transports the servant while he is sprawled on his divan. He then finds himself far ahead of the homeless”.
