How to protect yourself from the Djinns and Satan?, by Sheikh Wahîd Abdussalâm Bâlî
If a man had practiced a trade for fifty years , he would certainly have been an expert in its tricks and secrets of its craft . Such then is Iblis -on him the curse of Allah , since he was expelled from paradise until today , he has no other occupation than to mislead people, to mislead them and to make them sad and losers in this world and the hereafter . This long experience has enabled him to invent a whole art in misleading people .
On the other hand , man can only be safe from his pitfalls and stratagems if he is constant in imploring Allah's help and in accomplishing what attracts His satisfaction . In fact , when his heart takes refuge with him , draws near to him in the context of his activity and his rest , this gives reality to his humility . In worship which is the first virtue with which man must adorn himself to enter under the guarantee of this verse: "My worshippers , you will have no power over them" ( Koran , XVII, 65) . This divine word is the one which puts the barrier between the worshiper and the demons , barrier which is one of the signs which makes it possible to reach the station of servitude -maqâm al 'ubûdiyya- , if the heart is impregnated with bondage and consecration, man becomes one of the closest to Allah and enters into the following exception: " except for Your consecrated worshipers", ( Qur'an , Xv , 40) .
This book shows us the reality of the jinns , their tricks to corrupt hearts and how to protect us and our homes against their evils . May Allah guide us on the path of rectitude , facilitate us useful knowledge, healthy practice and protect us from all evil . Walhamdu Lillahi Rabbi L'Âlamîn .
