Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Idris Ash-Shâfi'î born in Gaza in 767, died in 820, Egypt, was a Muslim jurist and scholar, founder of the Shafi'ite school. He belongs to the Hashemite dynasty of the Quraych tribe.
