This book is intended to be a summary of the main themes of the Holy Quran. It does not claim to be exhaustive. It is an introduction to the main disciplines that scholars have developed over centuries.
Presented in a simplified way and different from the usual books, this book evokes the most essential main concepts by exploring themes that have not been developed so far in French such as the history of mushaf from yesterday to today, its spelling, its notation, its various readings, its translations or even an overview of the ancient and contemporary commentaries on the Koran, the best known through the centuries.

The mastery of the Arabic language and its derivatives being essential for any exegete, a section relating to its expressions and its subtleties will come to close this work thus underlining the beauty of the language of the Koran.
