The Friday sermon plays an extremely important role in individual and collective reformation. It is a privileged moment that allows the Muslim to recharge his batteries, to learn and to draw a course of action. It is an educational discourse which aims to raise awareness, call out reasons, stimulate hearts and recall responsibilities. It arouses in those who listen to it a feeling of faith and an understanding that allow them to live their Islam in an enlightened and harmonious way in line with the context in which they live.

This book presents a compilation of Friday sermons given by Professor Moncef Zenati. This is a series of speeches devoted to the qualities of those whom God has called "servants of the All-Merciful". In other words, it is a commentary on verses 63 to 74 of sura “discernment” (Al-Fourqan).

About the author: Moncef Zenati

Born June 11, 1970 in Le Havre. A graduate in mathematics and Islamic sciences, he is currently a teacher and head of the distance Islamic studies department in French at the IESH in Château-Chinon. Founding member of the Havre de Savoir association, he is also the author of several books including "La Sunna: mode d'emploi"
