Our methodology in the translation of Sounan Abi Daoud: participating in the dissemination of Islamic heritage is one of the ambitions of Editions Universel. After publishing sahih of Imam al Bukhary it was important to us to continue to highlight the heritage of the muhadithines. The collection of hadiths of Imam Abou Daoud is, in this respect, among the reference works relating to the sunnah, it is composed of 5274 hadiths. In order to make it easier to read, we have not translated the work in its entirety, we have kept in all the chapters only the hadiths considered authentic by Sheikh al Albani.
