The commentary of the Book The Four Rules, by Sheikh and Imam Mohammed Ibn 'Abd Al-Wahab, by Abd Ar-Razzâq Abd Al-Muhsin al-Badr
In this epistle, the Imam, the sheikh of Islam Muhammad Ibn 'Abd al-Wahhâb grouped together four principles and quoted their proofs in the Book of Allah (exalted be He) and the sunnah of His Prophet. Anyone who masters these principles and understands them is then able not to confuse things and not be prey to ambiguities; the aberrations and falsehoods of heretics and deviants will in no way affect him.
These are four great principles which cannot be dispensed with by any Muslim in the chapter of the knowledge of Oneness and polytheism, and the differentiation between the truth which is Oneness and the false which is polytheism.
Knowing the difference between Oneness and polytheism is a major imperative, especially in times like this when many are confused about Oneness and fall victim to various forms of polytheism that they are presented as neither contrary to Oneness nor disabling.
Therefore, one of the greatest necessities and one of the most important needs that every Muslim and every Muslim must consider is to know these great principles affirmed by the imams of Islam - may Allah have mercy on them - so that the Muslim can differentiate polytheism from uniqueness and sunnah from innovation.
Abd Ar-Raziaq ibn 'Abd Al-Mubsin al-Badr.
